52nd District: Incumbent Jeffrey M. Frederick (R), the beleaguered former head of the state GOP, won’t be running for reelection, and this Prince William district tops the list of those that Democratic party leaders believe they can switch from red to blue. Either Democratic candidate, Mike Hodge or Luke Torian, would be a major upgrade from Mr. Frederick, but Mr. Torian’s extensive community involvement makes him the better choice.

As many as 3 million people may be on hand for the inauguration, most watching Jumbotrons ranging from the Capitol Building to the Lincoln Memorial.
The Washington Post puts capacity for parade viewers at 10% of that.
…according to a security official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to comment, capacity is expected to be between 280,000 and 300,000. That number will include only those people standing on the sidewalks; it does not include the 5,000 people who have tickets to sit on bleachers along the parade route.
With parade checkpoints opening for the public at approximately 7 a.m., those hearty 300,000 will arrive earlier, stay later, and stand more closely than anyone else that day.
Start thinking party games people.
